About Shane McLennan
After 28 years of teaching Physical Education in San Francisco, I retired and began to enjoy my creative side through my second Major, Fine Art.
I have dabbled in many areas of Fine Art but designing and creating jewelry has become my main focus. The process of creating the jewelry pieces is quiet and meditative, and I fonldy refer to it as my "addiction".
The artistry of my consistent sterling silver wire work, connecting the beads in each design is precise and elegant. I have discovered many unique styles of design that can be worn multiple ways.
I have won many awards at the Marin County Fair the past 6 years in various art catagories. I am a member of the Marinn Society of Artists and sell in their Craft Gallery. I have been consistently juried into their monthly shows and I recently won 3rd place in the April open Craft and Sculpture Show.
